BDR Manager
Deck is building the data infrastructure for the internet, and they are seeking their first Business Development Manager to lead the BDR function. This role involves building and coaching a team of outbound BDRs, establishing processes, and collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Product to create a predictable pipeline.

Responsibilities
Build and lead the BDR function that fuels our next stage of growth
Hire, coach, and develop a team of outbound BDRs
Establish the processes and operating rhythm they rely on
Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product to create predictable pipeline across multiple verticals
Define the playbooks, segmentation, and outbound strategies that put Deck in front of the right prospects at the right time
Operationalize inbound SLAs, lead routing, and qualification to ensure high velocity and high quality handoffs to AEs
Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, content, events, and territory strategy
Partner with Sales leadership on pipeline targets and coverage models
Bring market insights back to Product to shape roadmaps and messaging
Play a foundational role in establishing Deck’s GTM engine, building from 0→1 and ensuring the team can scale to support Deck’s ARR goal
Qualification
Required
2–4 years as a top-performing BDR/SDR + 2–3 years managing BDR/SDR teams in high-growth SaaS
Proven success building or scaling outbound motion (ICP, segmentation, messaging, sequencing)
Experience partnering with Marketing on lead gen, events, and inbound processes
Comfortable with technical/API products or motivated to learn quickly
Strong coaching and people development; you know how to ramp early-career reps
Pipeline-driven mindset: you understand conversion rates, capacity models, and forecasting
Excellent written communication and message quality standards
Systems-minded: HubSpot, Apollo/Outreach, etc
Builder mentality; thrive in ambiguity and high-ownership environments
Low-ego and collaborative
Curious about markets, personas, and how Deck fits across verticals
