The Director of Media will lead the media strategy for the brand portfolio, ensuring alignment with brand priorities and driving performance across various media channels.

Responsibilities

Develop the comprehensive, full-funnel media strategy for the brand portfolio
Connect awareness, consideration, conversion, and retail activity so all channels work together
Oversee day-to-day collaboration with external media agency, Horizon
Ensure all media plans are aligned with brand priorities, financial objectives, and retailer requirements
Direct annual planning, determine optimal channel mix, and set the investment strategy
Use insights and data to improve how media and commerce support each other
Monitor media performance and adjust investments based on results
Develop, in partnership with agencies, testing plans to optimize investments and creative
Map media strategy and placements to creative deliverables, ensuring all media strategies are matched with required formats and versions
Track spending, reconcile invoices, and forecast needs with Finance
Lead Retail Media Network planning across key retailers
Work with Sales, eCommerce, and Brand teams to support retail goals
Set standards for retail media measurement, reporting, and optimization
Maintain strong communication with Sales teams and platform partners
Foster deep collaboration across internal teams to drive media effectiveness (Marketing, Creative, eCommerce, Sales, Innovation, Finance)
Partner with Brand teams and HomeShine Studios on deliverables, formats, and timelines
Serve as the lead contact for Horizon and other partners
Review media buying, reporting, pacing, and optimization
Support annual negotiations and budget stewardship

Required

8 to 10 years of experience in media planning and buying
Experience in CPG, retail, or performance-focused environments
Strong knowledge of digital, social, video, search, and retail media
Experience working with media agencies and managing partners
Strong analytical skills and comfort with performance reporting
Ability to connect media plans with creative and commercial needs
Strong communicator who works well across teams
Experience managing budgets

Preferred

Experience in multi-brand or portfolio environments a plus
