Responsibilities

Collaborate with systems and design engineers to establish DOORS database environments across multiple programs according to individual program needs

Inform DOORS database users on tool capabilities, providing sound recommendation as to which features to utilize based on documentation objectives

Advise how and when to phase in the use of features and capabilities based on a given point in a program’s lifecycle

Manage access and controls to and within each program’s DOORS modules

Use/develop scripts to automate the upload and download of documentation to and from DOORS in a variety of formats

Lead a team of other database administrators by: providing technical support to their assigned tasks; delegating work assignments promoting the grow of individuals within the team while achieving customer objectives; identifying manpower needs based on customer’s budgets and scopes of work; providing input to team members’ twice yearly performance impact assessments
