Supervisor, CMM Programming

The CMM Programming Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the daily operations of plants in the Phoenix area, coordinating and driving CMM Programming projects to ensure quality standards are met and that local plants receive timely CMM programs.

Responsibilities

Manage various aspects of the regional CMM programming staff to include: resource allocation, staffing and scheduling, capacity and throughput; CMM program accuracy and efficiency, CMM program reviews, team development and interdepartmental communication
Sets appropriate goals for department staff
Evaluate and enhance quality standards, technologies and approaches
Act as a strong advocate for quality in the New Product Development Process
Establish a sustainable culture of continuous improvement
Synthesize quality performance data for presentation to leadership
Drive improvement to the department key performance metrics (FPY, C/T, accuracy, BKM compliance)
Executes necessary precautions to ensure safety and compliance with Company, OSHA, and other standards and Regulations
Comply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations, Company policy and accepted safe work practices
Perform additional related duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree (BS) from four-year College or university in an Engineering or Quality discipline (preferred); or 6-8 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Advanced Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T Techniques
6-8 years of demonstrated success leading and managing Quality in a manufacturing or industrial setting (i.e., machining, semiconductor equipment, automotive)
Ability to write technical process documentation
Ability to Extract vital parameters from customer drawings and engineering documents
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Strong leadership, communication and teambuilding skills at all levels of levels of the organization
Working knowledge and application of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and manufacturing best practices (Lean, 5S, GMP)
Must be highly motivated and self-managed with the ability to generate and measure success through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Strong understanding of basic trigonometry and shop math
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred

ASQ certifications (CQI, CQE, CQT)
Six Sigma or Lean certifications
