Service Technician

The Service Technician is responsible for installing and removing safety equipment, training new team members, and ensuring compliance with safety standards during the construction phase of commercial projects.

Responsibilities
Installs and removes temporary and permanent fall protection equipment with precision in accordance with OSHA, Manufacturers’ & OS standards
Communicate with the project manager about the progress and status of each area for which they are responsible
Complete additional training as required. (OSHA, OS, Equipment)
Communicate professionally with the customer
Convey escalated concerns from the customer to the Project Manager
Accurately documents jobs using software, photos, recording equipment counts, and updating job status
Daily inspections and safety documentation requirements of equipment we are using
Operate an assigned company vehicle in accordance with fleet manual and state laws and inspect on a regular basis to maintain a clean, organized vehicle
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
HS diploma or equivalent
Valid state-issued driver's license
Proficiency with software and smartphone
Team player, adept at working in a fast-paced and diverse work environment with a willingness to work until the job is complete

This position requires some extensive travel depending on the job location
The Commercial Technician must be able to work in all seasons and weather conditions
Work overtime depending on business needs
Work nights and weekends if the job site schedule requires it
Climb ladders, and scaffolds and maintain proper use of equipment to access the job site and be in compliance to work at the job site
Work at heights and rooftops
Lift, carry, and unload a minimum of 50 lbs
Operate high-impact power tools
Secure proper training and certifications to work on commercial job sites
Preferred
2-3 years of commercial construction experience
Level 3 Safety Technician with Onsite Safety
Experience using power tools, lull, aerial lifts
OSHA Certifications
Experience with trailering and towing
