Responsibilities
Utilize your deep knowledge and experience in commercial loan closings to draft, review, assemble, and deliver legal documents related to real estate transactions, including promissory notes, mortgages, deeds of trust, loan agreements, and other critical documents for accuracy and completeness
Assist in coordinating commercial mortgage closings, finalizing fees, clearing title and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Maintain and update loan files to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Collaborate effectively with clients, lenders, title companies, and other stakeholders to facilitate a seamless closing process
Qualification
Required
5+ years of paralegal experience, with a strong background in commercial real estate lending, and a particular emphasis on real estate loan closings
In-depth knowledge of loan policy title review, survey, closing documents, and loan closing procedures
Strong attention to detail and impeccable organizational skills to manage and deliver complex legal documentation
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Collaborative mindset, supporting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and communication, with an ownership mentality
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with software commonly used in the mortgage industry, and willing to adapt to new technologies
