Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments
Maintain vendor records and resolve discrepancies
Record incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts
Monitor aging reports for follow up on overdue accounts
Accurately enter and categorize all financial transactions in QuickBooks Enterprise
Reconcile bank and credit card statements and intercompany accounts
Assist with month-end close processes and financial reporting
Maintain a complete and organized set of records for audits and internal reviews
Assist in preparing and submitting finance-related documents and forms as needed
Maintain accounting side of payroll in ADP ensuring consistency between timekeeping records, project accounting rules, and invoices
Reconcile employee time records with payroll batch to ensure accurate employes are accurately compensated
Assist with payroll-related reporting and audits
Prepare and file sales tax, payroll tax, and other regulatory filings
Serve as liaison with external accountants; provide requested documentation
Review internal books quarterly with accountants
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper / Accountant or related role
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and ADP (Workforce Now), MS Office 365 Suite (Excel, MSWord, Teams, Sharepoint)
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple departments
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Property Management experience a plus
