Central Farm Service is focused on agronomy operations and is seeking an Agronomy Operations Specialist to assist with various tasks. The role involves maintaining equipment, filling orders for chemicals and seeds, and ensuring efficient operation of delivery systems while promoting teamwork and customer relations.

Responsibilities

Know products in warehouse, the system for managing the products and how to pull orders
Maintenance of warehouse equipment
Fill dry fertilizer tower
Understand fertilizer load out procedures
Operate payloader and forklift efficiently
Treat seed according to customer specifications
Efficient operation of the anhydrous delivery system including filling and weighing anhydrous nurse tanks
Work in other departments as needed (grain, feed, energy)
Complete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner
Promotes teamwork by ensuring customers, vendors and employees are responded to in a professional and courteous manner
Practice good housekeeping procedures to comply with company and OSHA policies
Know and follow all company safety policies/procedure. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations
Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management

Required

Maintain a valid class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with hazmat and tanker endorsements
Maintain required Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification
Acceptable driving record
Strong multi tasking and organizational skills
Ability to work extended hours
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Full use of both arms and legs
Good finger dexterity
