They are seeking an experienced IAM System Engineer to support and enhance their enterprise workforce authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO) platform, primarily utilizing the PingFederate authentication platform.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day operational support for the PingFederate-based workforce SSO platform

Troubleshoot and resolve authentication and SSO issues across SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect

Support application onboarding to the enterprise SSO platform

Configure and manage authentication components including:Policies, Adapters, Selectors, Access tokens

Resolve SAML attribute mapping and configuration issues

Perform engineering and system maintenance activities, including:Platform upgrades, Stack refreshes, Vulnerability remediation, Security and compliance-driven redeployments

Execute frequent deployments (multiple times per month) using CI/CD pipelines

Collaborate with application teams to ensure seamless workforce authentication

Support internal workforce users via Slack and other support channels

Partner with IAM and security teams on gap remediation and broader IAM initiatives

Required

Strong hands-on experience with PingFederate (SME-level preferred)

Deep understanding of identity and authentication protocols: SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC)

Experience supporting workforce authentication / SSO platforms

Proven ability to troubleshoot complex authentication and access issues

Experience with CI/CD tools, such as (Jenkins, GitHub)

Experience deploying and redeploying systems in response to: Security vulnerabilities, Compliance requirements, Platform upgrades

Preferred

Experience with Okta (secondary to PingFederate expertise)

Exposure to enterprise IAM or security programs
