Responsibilities
Define end-to-end PLM architecture on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform (Cloud or On-Premise)
Lead BOM Transformation strategy, synchronizing EBOM, MBOM, and SBOM
Architect solutions for Product Configuration and Variant Management to handle complex automotive option logic and 150% BOM structures
Design data models, schema changes, and interface specifications within ENOVIA
Oversee integration of 3DX with downstream systems (ERP: SAP/Oracle) and legacy CAD environments (CATIA V5/V6)
Conduct technical deep-dives into 3DX modules such as Product Configurator and Change Manager
Develop migration strategies for transitioning legacy BOM data into the 3DX environment
Standardize Change Management processes (ECR/ECN) for global traceability
Partner with Engineering Leads and Manufacturing Engineers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Provide technical governance and mentorship to developers and system integrators
Qualification
Required
7–10 years in PLM
5+ years on 3DEXPERIENCE (R2018x or higher)
Deep knowledge of ENOVIA, Unified Architecture, and roles like Product Construct Engineer and Variant Management
Experience with multi-level BOMs, configurable modules, and effectivity
Proficiency in MQL, Java, POIs, and web services (REST/SOAP) for customization and integration
Strong understanding of product development cycles and vehicle architecture
Expertise in complex Boolean logic for automotive marketing and engineering options
Bachelor's Degree
10+ years in IT
4+ years in PLM concentration
Preferred
Master's Degree
