Responsibilities
Monitor and resolve tickets from both the network and security queues
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points
Perform software and code upgrades on network and firewall devices
Review and maintain firewall policies and rulesets
Replace and validate network and firewall hardware as needed
Assist with maintaining high availability across all critical systems
Qualification
Required
1–2 years of experience in networking or network operations/support
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
Network support experience with routing, switching, and wireless technologies required
Familiarity with firewall administration
Working knowledge of ACLs and general network troubleshooting
Preferred
Scripting experience (Python) is a plus
Certifications such as CCNA (strong plus), Network+, Security+, or PCCET is a plus
