They are seeking a customer-focused Service Engineer to provide preventive and predictive maintenance on Valmet QCS and DCS equipment at multiple customer sites in the Carolina area.

Responsibilities
Customer update meetings
Constant customer training and interactions with operations to be sure equipment is performing and being utilized as expected
Perform system upgrades as needed
Updating control logic as needed
Perform sensor correlations
Controls tuning
Preventive and remedial maintenance
Provide remote phone and internet support to customers
Generate reports after each customer visit
Travel would typically be within the work week but some work over weekends can be expected
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in, Electronic, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Chemical or Paper engineering with relevant experience
Instrumentation and controls background
Understanding of Cyber Security fundamentals
Good understanding of Virtual System
Experience in a QCS/DCS/Quality support role
Good working knowledge of Windows and networking
Knowledge of Word and Excel
Good interpersonal skills
The ability to use tools appropriately and in a safe manner
Be able to lift up to 30lbs
Strong fault-finding skills and paying attention to detail
