VP Racing is a global leader in race fuels and performance chemicals, seeking an on-site Event & Brand Activation Specialist to join their team. This role involves collaborating with Sales and Marketing to create impactful strategies for brand awareness at events and tradeshows, while also managing logistics and engaging with customers.

Responsibilities

Plan, activate, and positively represent VP Racing at field marketing activities including fan zones, giveaways, influencer appearances, ride-along(s), and other experiential activations

Lead planning and logistics for tradeshows, conferences, and retail activations — including event registration, kickoff meetings, and asset management

Develop and implement innovative brand activation strategies that connect with fans, partners, and retail customers

Serve as a liaison with tradeshow promoters, track personnel, sponsored athletes, dealers, and retail partners

Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to ensure cohesive brand messaging and ROI-focused execution

Manage merchandise inventory and on-site sales at activation events as needed

Transport, setup, staff, and tear down activation assets (booths, trailers, pop-ups, displays)

Hire and manage local brand ambassadors for event activations

Maintain VP Racing vans, trailers, and event displays in show-ready condition

Track, measure, and report on event ROI, lead generation, and engagement metrics

Support additional marketing projects and campaigns as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; AND at least five (5) years of experience for a high-profile consumer brand or activation agency (Sports or Retail marketing background a plus); OR any combination of education and experience that results in the applicable skills, knowledge, and abilities

Extremely organized and able to manage the logistics of multiple duties with professionalism and strong communication skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

High levels of accuracy, timeliness and dependability

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization

Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management

Ability to assist in providing solutions to challenges that arise

Willingness to travel up to 35–50%, including weekends
