Responsibilities

Provide support to accounting close team during ERP implementation period, support may include backfill on BAU close process work or implementation/testing support for the ERP system

BAU backfill may include, but not limited to:

Review and evaluation of actual financial results for the divisions, analyze trends and report quarterly financial information

Preparation or first level of review of financial reporting packages, financial analysis of line of business reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting on GAAP and Statutory basis, etc

Business support to Divisional FP&A teams on quarterly results

ERP Implementation support may include, but not limited to

Validation of data conversion output

Analysis and documentation of future state changes in the quarterly close processes

Analysis and setup of close tools on the new technology platform

Participation in mock close testing

Required

Accounting Management experience in managing the accounting close and financial reporting for an insurance or financial services company

Experience with both GAAP and Statutory (blue books) financial reporting required

Provide support to accounting close team during ERP implementation period

BAU backfill may include, but not limited to: Review and evaluation of actual financial results for the divisions, analyze trends and report quarterly financial information

Business support to Divisional FP&A teams on quarterly results

ERP Implementation support may include, but not limited to: Validation of data conversion output, Analysis and documentation of future state changes in the quarterly close processes, Analysis and setup of close tools on the new technology platform, Participation in mock close testing

Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting and reporting

Broad-based financial and leadership background

Analyze financial results and trends

Experience in insurance or financial service industries
