As a Senior Consultant, you will provide hands-on accounting support and lead efforts to improve accounting workflows and processes, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
Accounting
Responsibilities
Perform and review journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and ensure the accuracy and organization of the chart of accounts
Play a pivotal role in executing or overseeing the month-end close process and provide critical support in preparing accurate financial statements and reports
Lead efforts to improve accounting workflows and processes, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance
Review and validate account reconciliations and journal entries while addressing complex accounting issues and ensuring adherence to best practices
Provide detailed financial analysis and expertise during the due diligence phase of M&A transactions
Collaborate closely with clients to identify risks, opportunities, and essential considerations within the transaction lifecycle
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, required
2+ years of experience in public accounting (Big Four or Next Ten) or a mix of public and industry experience
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including team collaboration and client-facing discussions
Passion for helping clients with a strong interest in operational accounting
Proven ability to identify challenges, implement solutions, and deliver with precision
Ability to act and lead as the client contact
High-level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Preferred
Master's degree
CPA or equivalent certification highly valued
Expertise with ERP systems, especially NetSuite
Familiarity with supplemental tools like FloQast, Blackline, Workiva, and Carta is a bonus
