Product Manager – Inventory Management Software

The Product Manager - Inventory Management will coordinate and manage assigned platform products throughout their lifecycle, focusing on requirements gathering, product definition, and market introduction.

Responsibilities
Become an expert on product and deeply understand our customers and industry
Coordination and management of the product lifecycle to include definition, development, coordination of production and marketplace introduction
Develop messaging that differentiates Apptricity solutions in the marketplace
Defining product requirements (roadmaps, workflows) for introduction to development teams
Write product requirements and usage scenarios
Determining, monitoring, and reporting metrics of key performance indicators
Benchmarking product features as compared to key competitors in the marketplace
Partner with QA teams to test and validate functional specifications are being met during the development process
Partner with leadership and other stakeholders on product vision / direction, translating into actionable requirements to bring to the development team
Collaborate on backlog management & iteration planning while balancing the requirements of customers and stakeholders
Create standard documents like (but not limited to) the market requirements document, product requirements document, business case documentation, etc. for a product
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 Years experience working with Inventory Management Software
7 Years Experience working in Supply Chain software industry
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Technically Equivalent Degree
5+ years of experience in a Product Management role, Product Owner, Product Analyst
3-5 years' experience designing strategy/plans by defining product requirements (roadmaps, workflows) for introduction to development teams
Agile and scrum experience
Write product requirements and usage scenarios
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver through relationships at all levels of the organization, demonstrating excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Significant experience in software product marketing, marketing management, development and/or life cycle management
Pragmatic Marketing experience
Experience using Salesforce
Significant knowledge of SAAS and the SDLC
Knowledge of inventory management software, or supply chain industry plus
Preferred
Knowledge of Asset/ Inventory/Supply Chain software - Experience with inventory management systems -
