The Boeing Company is looking for a Tool and Fixture Specialist to support the Tooling Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina. The role involves conducting various tooling operations, including tool setup, repairs, and support for manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Performs routine tool set up activities
Makes minor repairs
Performs manufacture, assembly and fabrication of tools
Operates various factory support equipment to move materials, products and tools as required
Provides tooling support to other organizations
Assists in determining fabrication and assembly processes for the design
Assists in reverse engineering design and fabrication processes for parts
Performs work in all weather conditions, including inclement weather conditions
Must be able to obtain and maintain Fall Protection Certification (<275lbs.)
Must maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job

Required

Must have a current valid driver's license
6+ months of work experience operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks
6+ months of work experience operating hand tools
1+ years of experience repairing, maintaining, construction, and/or the inspection of tools, dies, jigs, power feed, etc
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time (4+ hours)
Must be able to carry and lift up to 35 pounds

Preferred

1+ years of experience tool set-up and maintenance
