Associate Attorney

Responsibilities

Corporate & Transactional Work: Manage complex business transactions, including Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), private equity deals, and business succession planning
Technology & Startups: Assist with the firm’s growing technology practice, including work with startups, digital assets, and the firm’s upcoming business incubator
Client Management: Directly interact with clients, providing counsel on business strategy and legal compliance
Remote Collaboration: Utilize the firm’s cloud-based tech stack (Leap, Microsoft 365, internal AI tools) to manage casework and collaborate with the team efficiently from a remote environment

Required

Must be currently licensed to practice law in Maryland
3–5 years of substantive experience in Corporate Law, M&A, or Business Transactions
Must be highly proficient with technology
Ability to work autonomously in a 100% remote environment
A desire to grow professionally, take ownership of projects, and potentially develop your own client base

Preferred

Experience with Family Law is not a fit for this position
Capable of building cap tables without instruction
Can troubleshoot basic software issues independently
Self-starter who does not require training on basic tools like Outlook or Word
