Responsibilities

Lead and manage tax engagements for privately held businesses, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals

Provide practical tax planning, consulting, and compliance support tailored to each client’s needs

Review complex federal and state tax returns and ensure accurate, timely filings

Identify planning opportunities and proactively advise clients on tax-saving strategies

Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, building trusted, long-term relationships

Supervise, mentor, and develop managers, supervisors, and staff through direct coaching and ongoing feedback

Oversee engagement planning, budgeting, and scheduling with a focus on efficiency and quality

Foster a supportive, team-oriented environment that emphasizes professional growth and accountability

Stay current on tax law changes and interpret how they impact clients and the firm’s practice

Review workpapers and returns to ensure technical accuracy and consistency with firm standards

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to processes, technology, and workflow
