This role focuses on strategic analysis, project management, and executive communications to drive initiatives that impact the community, such as homelessness response and public safety initiatives.

Responsibilities
Conduct research on priority County initiatives—homelessness, public safety, economic development, childcare, and emerging executive priorities
Build analytical products and dashboards that clarify trends and inform decision pathways
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple workstreams
Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements grounded in data and stakeholder input
Coordinate with internal departments, external partners, and community stakeholders to advance Countywide goals
Plan and implement convenings, outreach, and engagement efforts with partners and key stakeholders as needed to implement program objectives
Prepare concise, compelling written products for senior leaders—briefs, decision memos, reports, and presentations
Present findings and recommendations to executives and cross-functional partners
Monitor program and project performance; adjust plans proactively to keep initiatives on track
Represent the CEO’s Office in meetings with County departments, community groups, and external agencies
Qualification
Required
At least three years of similar professional administrative experience
Strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and strategic judgment
High-quality writing and communication skills—clear, direct, executive-appropriate
Ability to build productive relationships and navigate complex stakeholder environments
Agility, resourcefulness, and comfort managing several initiatives simultaneously
Advanced analytical capability, including business intelligence experience
Ability to work with and analyze complex datasets in areas such as homelessness, operational dashboards, and policy metrics
Comfort translating data into strategy and operational recommendations
Strong project management experience in government or complex organizations
Skilled at leading cross-functional efforts, shaping consensus, and driving execution
High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and stakeholder-management maturity
