How to MANAGE a Small Law Firm (HTM) helps entrepreneurial law firm owners build profitable, well-run firms through proven business, marketing, and accountability systems. We’re hiring a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who leads from the front, combining executive leadership with hands-on coaching, accountability, and execution.
Responsibilities
Coach and advise law firm owners on business growth and execution
Hold members accountable to measurable goals and commitments
Lead through direct communication, structure, and follow-through
Monitor progress metrics and intervene when momentum slows
Participate in weekly leadership meetings and ongoing training
Represent HTM at quarterly live events across the U.S
Qualification
Required
8–10+ years of executive leadership experience (CEO, COO, President, Managing Director, or equivalent)
Background in professional services, consulting, coaching, or law firm management
Proven ability to hold high-performing professionals accountable
Strong execution mindset—plans only matter if they're implemented
Clear, direct communicator who balances empathy with firmness
Comfortable working remotely with structured expectations
Willing to travel periodically for live events
