Responsibilities
You are the expert on the financial models
You’ll build the spreadsheets ($LBO$ models) that determine if a deal is profitable and manage the lawyers and accountants during the buying process
You’ll research the shipping and logistics industry to figure out where the best opportunities are and how to make a company more valuable after you buy it
You’ll work directly with their leadership team to track their budget, improve their operations, and prepare for board meetings
You’ll look at new deal opportunities coming in and help decide which ones are worth the firm's time
Qualification
Required
2–4 years of experience in banking or another Private Equity firm
Ability to build complex financial models from scratch
Comfortable in a small office environment and able to take ownership and work independently
