Responsibilities
Perform evacuations of parallel rack systems after verifying pressure tests
Complete EMS wiring, programming, and commissioning across major EMS platforms
Lead full start-up of new parallel refrigeration systems and individual systems
Support small project work including single case and condenser changeouts
Assist with Energy Optimization (EO) initiatives such as:
Supermarket retro-commissioning
EMS upgrades
Leak detection upgrades
Gas conversion projects
Collaborate with Service and Construction Managers to support:
Problematic store locations
Training and mentoring of junior technicians and foremen
Work on modern refrigeration systems, including CO₂ and R290
Travel between project sites as needed and support overnight or overtime work
Qualification
Required
5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience, with strong exposure to parallel rack systems
3+ years of supermarket EMS systems experience
Expert knowledge of supermarket refrigeration environments
Proficiency with EMS platforms such as CPC, Novar, and Danfoss
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing blueprints
EPA I & II Certification required
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
Preferred
EMS Certification preferred
