Clinical Support Specialty Clinics

ScionHealth is currently hiring for a Clinical Support Tech to support their Specialty Clinics. This role involves providing direct patient care and clinical support services in an outpatient clinic setting, assisting with patient assessments, and ensuring quality patient outcomes through effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

Provide basic patient care activities including monitoring vital signs, recording intake and output, and assisting with activities of daily living
Report abnormal findings or changes in condition to licensed nursing staff or providers
Prepare patient charts and assist with maintaining complete and accurate medical records
Escort patients to examination rooms, obtain and record vital signs, and prepare patients for provider evaluation
Assist with specimen collection and laboratory procedures as directed
Support providers during examinations and procedures by preparing supplies and equipment
Maintain patient confidentiality and provide courteous, professional interactions
Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations and patient care

Required

High school diploma or equivalent – Required
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within time frame required by facility policy

Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
