They are seeking a Summer 2026 Commercial Property & Casualty (P&C) Claims Intern to support their claims team, providing an opportunity to learn about insurance claims processes and assist with investigations, evaluations, and negotiations.

Responsibilities
Collaborating with our claims adjusters to support investigations, which includes but is not limited to witnessing interviews, obtaining documentations, and conducting online research
Evaluating property and injury claims. Providing recommendations to our adjusters regarding claim value and liability risks
Working jointly with our claim adjusters and outside attorneys on the status and strategy of pending litigations
Supporting adjusters in claims negotiations, attending mediation with claims adjusters, and participating in live high-stakes negotiations
Reviewing insurance policies and identifying coverage issues to best determine coverage
Analyzing, researching, and reviewing subrogation demands from other insurers
Addition/Ad-hoc assistance as needed by the team
Qualification
Required
A current college undergraduate who is a resident of Seattle, WA, and/or is attending a school in Seattle, WA
Comfortable with data and analyzing sensitive information
Excellent communication skills both verbally and in written form
Good Interpersonal skills to quickly develop trust, credibility, and respect from all levels of staff
Strong sales and marketing skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent time management and organizational skills. Candidate must be detail oriented
Interest in pursuing a career in the insurance industry post-graduation
Benefits
The intern will accrue 0.0692 of Paid Time Off (PTO) per paid hour.
