Responsibilities
Program and set up precision OD and centerless grinding machines
Read and interpret technical drawings to produce accurate parts
Perform basic set-ups, tool changes, and machine adjustments
Operate grinding equipment and verify parts meet required specifications (e.g., surface finish, concentricity, straightness)
Use precision measuring tools (both contact and non-contact)
Develop tooling and gauging for complex part shapes
Troubleshoot issues during set-up and production runs
Ensure machines run efficiently and daily production goals are met
Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams
Maintain safety and operational standards
Support special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
CNC Manufacturing Experience preferably in regulated industry with tight tolerances (tenths or <~0.001")
Familiarity with safety protocols and quality standards
Preferred
Previous manufacturing or machining experience preferred but not required
Basic mechanical and math skills are a plus
