Responsibilities

Developing API-driven micro-services that combine into large and complex platforms

Planning and executing highly parallel distributed object storage transformations and migrations

Maintaining automated test suites using CI/CD tools

Participating in collaborative projects with small software engineering teams

Develop automation, processes, and tools designed to make our services simpler and more robust

Required

5+ Years of experience in developing in Python, Java, Go or Ruby and experience working in collaborative coding environments

Experience in operating large scale environments with Linux/Unix development or systems administration

At least 4-5 years of experience with Kubernetes/Docker and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible

Hands-on operational experience in a high-volume or critical production service environment - distributed systems, capacity planning, and continuous deployment

Experience with AWS services like S3, Firehouse, ECS, EKS, EC2, IAM Policies, Lamda, etc

Knowledge of Observability platforms like Dynatrace, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc
