Responsibilities
Own the full-cycle accounting: General ledger, journal entries, AP/AR, credit card reconciliations, and month/year-end close
Prepare accurate monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure a clean, audit-ready financial system
Develop and implement scalable financial processes and controls
Provide clear, actionable financial reporting and analysis to the founder and leadership team
Qualification
Required
7-8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance
Proven ability as a hands-on #1 finance person in a small company or significant IC ownership in a startup environment
Expert proficiency in full-cycle accounting and monthly close processes
Strength in both technical execution and big-picture analysis
Excellent with financial systems and software; experience setting up processes is a plus
Must work onsite in our Manhattan office
Authorized to work in the US

Preferred
Experience in the travel or hospitality industry
CPA or CFA qualification
