Responsibilities

Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam software
Program CNC lathes, vertical mills, and 4-axis horizontal boring mills for precision machining
Create and modify machine setups, including tool paths and cutting parameters
Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for efficient and accurate machining
Analyze and optimize programs to reduce cycle times and increase tool life
Support machining department ensuring programs are executed accurately and efficiently

Required

HS diploma or equivalent
3-5 years hands-on manufacturing / programming CNC lathes, mills and multi-axis machines
Proficiency in a CNC programming software (Mastercam Preferred)
Strong understanding of G-Code and M-Code programming
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings using GD&T
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Detail-orientated with commitment to producing high-quality work
A strong willingness to be cross-trained is necessary

Preferred

Proficiency in a CNC programming software (Mastercam Preferred)
Knowledge of FANUC, Toshiba, and Okuma controllers preferred
