Business Development Administrator

Ampyx Cyber is seeking a motivated and creative Business Development Administrator to support our business development operations. This role is ideal for an entry/associate-level professional interested in cybersecurity, government and commercial contracting, and business development coordination.

Responsibilities

Track and organize RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs (collectively RFx) from public and private sector clients
Assist in drafting, editing, and assembling proposal responses under supervision
Maintain records of submitted proposals and outcomes for analysis and reporting
Enter and manage Ampyx profiles and documents across bid platforms (e.g., SAM.gov, Bonfire, Ariba, etc.)
Support the coordination of internal and external meetings, including calendar invites, agendas, and logistics
Prepare briefing documents and materials for business development calls or meetings
Assist in managing proposal development timelines, deliverables, and team coordination
Maintain and update records in the company’s CRM system to reflect business development activity
Track contacts, communications, follow-ups, and opportunity stages
Generate basic CRM reports and support list-building for outreach and follow-up
Assist with internal reporting related to business development pipeline and metrics
Organize and maintain business development documentation in shared drives

Required

Current student or recent graduate in Business Administration, Communications, Public Policy, or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, FreshSales, or similar)
Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to juggle multiple priorities
Comfortable working independently in a remote team environment using Microsoft 365, Zoom, and Google Workspace

Preferred

Interest or experience in RFP/RFQ processes or government contracting is a plus
Experience with bid portals or procurement platforms
