Responsibilities
Drafting trust and estate documents tailored to clients needs and goals
Hosting consultations and client meetings in-person and remotely to execute signatures, answer questions, and conduct business succession planning
Working alongside financial advisors to ensure plans are in place for clients
Drafting, reviewing and executing complex estate and business planning documents such as buy/sell agreements, life insurance trusts, GST Trusts, and charitable remainder trusts
Field client phone calls and succinctly explain complex concepts
Qualification
Required
JD Degree and admitted in NJ
4+ years of Trusts and Estates experience
Experience working with both high net worth and business clients
An ability to explain legal concepts to clients, ensuring they understand their estate plan
Client relation skills with a strong sense of empathy for client situations
Ability to independently handle an estate planning file from consultation to closing
A positive attitude and independence to manage their own day
Preferred
A business planning background
An LLM degree
