The New York Mets are seeking talented students for paid summer internship opportunities within their front office. The Human Resources intern will have the opportunity to learn about and work on projects related to employee life cycle, communications, recruiting, and professional development.

Responsibilities

Assist with organizational communications

Be part of running the internship program for their fellow interns

Screen candidates for open roles and schedule their interviews

Assist with the onboarding process for new hires and offboarding as needed

Assist with the scheduling and activation of learning and development programs for staff

Assist with general HR related tasks

Required

Ability to work efficiently and prioritize work responsibilities

Must be able to work and interact well with others across organizational levels (fellow interns, executives, front office staff, athletes, fans, corporate clients, etc.)

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Proficiency with all Microsoft Office Suite software

Ability to always maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials
