Responsibilities
Lead accountant for various entities within Denison: income statement review, balance sheet reconciliation, revenue recognition, invoicing, and cost accounting
Prepare and manage the Financial Statements, including the Cash Flow Statement and intercompany account balancing
Review and approve monthly bank reconciliations; assist with resolving discrepancies
Monitor and approve payroll processes; serve as backup for payroll execution, includes processing transfers and payroll bank account reconciliation
Maintain oversight of banking relationships and reconciliation for assigned entities
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills—able to collaborate across departments and with leadership
A proactive, detail-oriented approach to financial reporting, including experience in intercompany transactions
Self-motivated with a strong desire to identify and implement process improvements
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Preferred
CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
Workday experience a plus
