Responsibilities
Directly supports families in housing by helping them build stability, pursue education and employment, and work toward self-sufficiency
Works directly with families who live in subsidized housing
Uses community-organizing techniques and public relations skills to coordinate resources, communicate with diverse clients, and organize community activities
Advocates with property management, service providers, and partner agencies while helping families access internal and external supports
Supports resident engagement through coordinated activities and the monthly newsletter
Brings empathy, organization, and a solutions-focused approach to serving HACC’s diverse communities

Required
Conscientious and detail-oriented professional
Strong interpersonal and outreach skills
Ability to support families in housing by helping them build stability, pursue education and employment, and work toward self-sufficiency
Experience working directly with families who live in subsidized housing
Understanding of the challenges faced by those living in subsidized housing
Ability to use community-organizing techniques and public relations skills to coordinate resources
Ability to communicate with diverse clients
Ability to organize community activities
Advocacy skills with property management, service providers, and partner agencies
Ability to help families access internal and external supports
Support for resident engagement through coordinated activities and the monthly newsletter
Empathy, organization, and a solutions-focused approach to serving diverse communities
Comfortable working with confidential information
Proficient with data systems
Understanding of program requirements
Ability to remain composed and resourceful in challenging situations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build trust and collaborate with partners
Ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred
Experience or a strong interest in housing stability, case management, resident services, or social services
