Total Rewards Lead Analyst

Blue Cross Blue Shield Association is seeking a Total Rewards Lead Analyst to serve as a compensation expert. This role involves analyzing compensation data for market competitiveness and pay equity, leading data audits, and supporting total rewards projects through planning and implementation.

Responsibilities

Analyzing compensation data to ensure market competitiveness and pay equity
Leading data accuracy and integrity by reviewing, auditing, testing, and identifying process improvements surrounding total rewards data
Supporting small to large-scale total rewards projects through project planning, design, tracking, analytics, material creation, and implementation
Leading or supporting compensation, recognition, or HR-related projects based on HR strategy and deliverables
Managing problem resolution, database management, testing, and system functionality
Supporting the compensation team with the design and implementation of compensation policies, guidelines, and programs that align with the organization’s total rewards philosophy
Managing pay structures, policies, and programs related to base pay, compensation administration, job classifications, market pricing analysis, and incentives
Ensuring compensation-related changes align with the total reward philosophy based on data-driven decisions
Creating comprehensive compensation reports and analytics to ensure consistent, equitable, and market-competitive compensation delivery based on current guidelines

Required

Bachelor's Degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field or equivalent work experience
7+ Years HR experience, with at least 5 of those in Compensation
Significant experience reviewing, leveling and market pricing jobs
Ability to apply judgment under ambiguity to recommend balanced pay actions
Ability to operationalize policy into clear, repeatable processes and training
Ability to consult and educate leaders and internal partners while building strong cross-functional relationships and steering decisions within guidelines
Ability to lead improvements and spot upstream data/process issues; design and socialize fixes that reduce rework and improve stakeholder experience
Ability to safeguard confidentiality and compliance with sensitive data
Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables
Advanced analytical skills
Advanced written and oral communication and professional presentation skills
Working knowledge of pay equity practices
Project management skills
