Responsibilities

Influencing unit leaders and their teams through change, connecting business strategy to people strategy, and driving higher business unit performance
Engaging effectively across the business and functions, balancing organizational needs with both short-term and long-term focus, and providing actionable input into the development and establishment of Center of Excellence (CoE) programs and other critical talent solutions
Partnering regionally and globally to successfully implement BASF’s and Performance Materials strategies
Building organizational culture and fostering relationships internally across units and externally in the market
Championing diversity and inclusion to strengthen culture and relationships throughout the organization
Collaborating across multiple operating divisions as a key leader for the Wyandotte Site
Applying knowledge of regional processes, labor, and employment laws to balance employee advocacy with business needs
Leading a team of direct reports and partnering with People Services to deliver impactful HR solutions
Inspiring people by connecting knowledge, prioritizing learning, and engaging employees to drive a high-performance, caring culture

Required

Possess a strong educational background (bachelor's degree) and prior work experience in progressively responsible HR positions

Bring strong knowledge of regional processes, labor, and employment laws to balance employee advocacy with business needs
Collaborate effectively across multiple operating divisions as a leader
