Paralegal: Enterprise Networking (Hybrid)

Responsibilities
Develop an understanding of the products and the unique, relevant legal challenges specific to those products
Under supervision, draft, review, revise, and negotiate commercial agreements to enable customer success and meet Cisco goals
Cultivate close working relationships with the engineering, product management, operations, finance and legal teams bringing our products to market
Be knowledgeable on issues related to global privacy, data protection, lawful intercept and data localization/sovereignty
Manage legal requests from multiple internal clients, with the ability to prioritize key transactions
Summarize and communicate legal issues in plain-English
Embrace AI and integrate it in your daily activities while looking to drive efficiencies
Be an extraordinary teammate, willing to pitch in and assist wherever needed
Qualification
Required
8+ years of relevant experience at a law firm and/or in-house (the ideal candidate will have both law firm and in-house experience)
Legal experience in networking, software and technology
Familiarity with intellectual property, regulatory and contractual matters
Experience and familiarity with data privacy such as GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy laws, as well as as-a-service offerings. CIPP/E certification is a plus
Experience with AI tools to drive efficiencies
Excellent project management skills
Preferred

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and desire to make legal processes more efficient
Good business judgment, advocating for acceptable legal risk to enable business outcomes
Customer and client-centric approach, demonstrating respect and a positive attitude under all circumstances
Outstanding drafting skills, with the ability to discuss complex issues in a clear and simple manner both in writing and orally
