Sherwin-Williams is the world’s largest paints and coatings company, offering a PAID internship for college students to gain hands-on experience in sales. Interns will work alongside experienced Store Sales Reps, learning about sales, analytics, marketing activations, and business communication over a 10-week program.

Responsibilities

The training location for the internship will be in the Cleveland area and interns must be located here for the duration of the 10-week program

A valid driver’s license is also required due to the expectation that our interns will be traveling to multiple stores in the assigned area to get the true experience of a rep within our company

The position is scheduled to start in June 2026

Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised

Required

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must be enrolled in a college or university during the internship

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without now or in the future requiring sponsorship for employment visa status

Must be able to work all scheduled hours which may include weekends

Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks, and lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs

Must have a valid unrestricted driver's license

Preferred

Have at least one (1) year experience in Customer Services, Sales, Marketing or other Business related field

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Must have at least one (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, and/or Outlook)

Previous experience working in a team-oriented setting including work experience, extracurricular activities, military service, etc

Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish

Be a rising or current Junior or Senior in college or university at the start of the internship program

Previous relevant internships or co-op experience
