They are seeking a Strategic Sales Manager to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth in the life sciences sector, focusing on building relationships and executing strategic sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Design and implement strategic sales plans that align with company growth objectives in the life sciences space
Drive Revenue Growth: Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts to consistently exceed revenue targets
Market Expansion: Prospect and build relationships with key decision-makers in pharma, biotech, diagnostics, and research institutions
Strategic Account Management: Own and grow relationships with high-value clients through consultative selling and value-based engagement
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with marketing, product development, R&D, and operations to ensure alignment and customer success
Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular updates to senior leadership
Voice of Customer: Represent customer feedback internally to support product innovation and service improvement
Stay Informed: Maintain deep knowledge of market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes affecting the life sciences industry

Required

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or MS) is a plus
5–8 years of progressive sales experience in the life sciences, biotech, or pharma sector
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding growth targets in complex, technical B2B environments
Strong network and experience working with key accounts in pharma, biotech, research, or diagnostics
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze sales data and adjust strategy accordingly
Comfortable with CRM platforms and sales enablement tools

Preferred

Experience selling solutions such as lab equipment, research reagents, diagnostic tools, CRO/CMO services in life sciences
Background in navigating long sales cycles and multiple stakeholder environments
Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced, and evolving organization
