Responsibilities

Apply and adapt journey-level project management techniques to complex and evolving initiatives
Lead projects that may be loosely defined and require creative or innovative approaches
Develop and obtain commitment on detailed work plans, including schedule, cost, resources, contingency, and communications
Obtain management approvals and ensure complete and accurate project documentation
Identify, analyze, and resolve project performance issues
Manage vendor integration, deliverables, and third-party relationships
Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to all stakeholders
Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency and mitigation plans
Capture and communicate lessons learned and best practices
Ensure project objectives are achievable and aligned with business strategy
Negotiate third-party contracts in support of internal departments when required
Perform budget tracking, reporting, and compliance activities
Manage project reporting tools such as PlanisWare and EPIC PMO
Oversee timelines, critical path activities, and milestone delivery
Facilitate meetings including daily, weekly, and monthly operating reviews
Lead 1-3-10 planning, tactical implementation plans, and workstream management
Interface effectively across multiple supporting organizations

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 8 years of project management experience (9 years if outside hire)
Experience in project management, project controls, engineering, and/or construction
Strong risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder management skills
Superior ability to collaborate across cross-functional and external teams
Advanced project management expertise
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of the energy and utility sector

Preferred

Project Management Professional ( PMP ) certification
Experience with electric utilities or similar organizations
Familiarity with utility industry regulatory and operational environments
