Campus Store and Office Manager
Wesleyan College is a four-year national liberal arts college for women located in Macon, Georgia. The Campus Store & Post Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, financial performance, and customer experience of the Campus Store and Post Office, ensuring efficient services that support the College's mission.

Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the Campus Store, including purchasing, pricing, inventory control, merchandising, and point-of-sale operations
Develop and maintain appealing product offerings that reflect campus needs, seasonal demand, and institutional branding
Oversee ordering of spirit wear that appeals to all our stakeholders, including students, alumni, parents, faculty and staff
Analyze sales data to guide purchasing decisions, control costs, and maximize revenue
Ensure compliance with college policies related to cash handling, inventory, and financial reporting
Oversee daily operations of the campus Post Office, including mail and package receiving, sorting, distribution, and customer service
Ensure compliance with USPS regulations and institutional procedures
Serve as the primary liaison with postal vendors and delivery services
Address mail-related inquiries, issues, and service improvements
Hire, train, schedule, and supervise student employees
Foster a welcoming, service-oriented environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors
Establish clear expectations, provide coaching, and conduct performance evaluations
Ensure adequate staffing levels during peak academic periods
Prepare and manage operating budgets for the Campus Store and Post Office
Track revenue, expenses, and inventory; prepare reports for leadership
Identify opportunities for increased efficiency and revenue generation
Collaborate with campus partners to promote store offerings, events, and special promotions
Support institutional events, orientations, and campus traditions through merchandise and services
Maintain consistent branding aligned with Wesleyan College identity
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in retail, operations, or auxiliary services management
Experience with inventory management, budgeting, and point-of-sale systems
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to supervise, train, and motivate staff
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic financial reporting tools
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to inclusivity and a student-centered approach
Preferred
Experience in a higher education or campus retail environment
Familiarity with postal operations or USPS procedures
Experience supervising student employees
Knowledge of merchandising, marketing, or brand management
