They are seeking a Summer Law Clerk Intern to assist with reviewing, drafting, and editing contracts, as well as conducting legal research on topics related to life insurance and data privacy.

Responsibilities

Reviewing, drafting and editing contracts and agreements

Conducting and compiling legal research regarding a variety of topics related to life insurance, data privacy and security, state licensing, and various contract provisions

Required

Completion of a minimum of one year of law school

Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail

Excellent presentation and communications skills

Demonstrates strong performance in legal writing

Ability to handle multiple projects and a demanding workload, while meeting tight deadlines

Proficient at legal research

Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Ability to work effectively independently and with a team

Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status, 0-1, TN, CPT, OPT, etc.)
