Responsibilities

Produce complicated components needed, subassemblies, and final assemblies in related area to blueprint and work instructions
Work under the direction of supervisors, or more experienced personnel, with minimal supervision
Setup and operate all equipment and tools in related area to produce product to specification requirements
Must follow all environmental policies and procedures when working with chemicals and substances
Must follow all safety procedures and wear required P.P.E. at all times
Maintain high quality and production standards and keep records accurately
Assist lower classification personnel and be willing to cross train as needed
Understand and use measuring equipment
Setup and operate necessary equipment in related area
Complete all necessary paperwork and records required
Produce and measure product to ensure compliance to engineering drawings and work instruction specifications
Maintain clean, neat, and safe work area
Assists with the training of co-workers
Maintain a clean, neat, and healthy work environment
Work safely following all safety procedures
Willing to work overtime as required
Performs other duties, as assigned

Required

Responsible for performing repetitive bench or line assembly operations to produce medical device products, primarily for the Dental industry, such as air compressors and vacuums with limited supervision
Produce complicated components needed, subassemblies, and final assemblies in related area to blueprint and work instructions
Work under the direction of supervisors, or more experienced personnel, with minimal supervision
Setup and operate all equipment and tools in related area to produce product to specification requirements
Must follow all environmental policies and procedures when working with chemicals and substances
Must follow all safety procedures and wear required P.P.E. at all times
Maintain high quality and production standards and keep records accurately

2-3 years of experience as an Electro-mechanical assembler in a dental, medical or military equipment company preferred
Knowledge and use of basic assembly hand tools i.e. screw drivers, wrenches, drills, etc
Thoroughness: shows attention to detail and takes great care
Teamwork Orientation: work cooperatively with others on a team
Time Management and attendance: the ability to work quickly and methodically, dedicated to getting the job done
Technical Capacity: knowledgeable and having the skills to perform specialized tasks
Ability to perform basic assembly functions and possess the skills needed to use basic hand tools
Must follow verbal and/or written instructions and take direction from their supervisor or lead person
Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical drawings, in the form of Work Instructions, Method Sheets and Bills of Material
Capability to communicate clearly both written and verbally
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs on a consistent basis
Ability to maintain an organized and neat work area
High School Diploma or equivalent required or related experience

Preferred

2-3 years of experience as an Electro-mechanical assembler in a dental, medical or military equipment company preferred
