Responsibilities
Provide statewide, onsite installation, configuration, maintenance, repair, and technical support for state-owned IT assets, including computers, servers, network switches, routers, printers, and other related equipment
Administer and manage user accounts for both local and cloud-based authentication services, ensuring proper access controls and security compliance
Deliver technical assistance and training to end users, promoting effective system use and serving as a form of preventative maintenance to reduce recurring issues
Respond appropriately during emergency or disaster situations by supporting continuity of operations in accordance with established and department-approved disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Assist with the support, tracking, and maintenance of the agency’s statewide movable property and IT asset database to ensure accurate inventory records
Provide professional, customer-focused technical support while troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues in a timely manner
Qualification
Required
Four years of experience in information technology
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus two years of experience in information technology
An associate's degree in information technology plus two years of experience in information technology
A bachelor's degree plus two years of experience in information technology
A bachelor's degree with twenty-four semester hours in an information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or business analytics field plus one year of experience in information technology
A master's degree plus one year of experience in information technology
Experience with Active Directory
Experience with network devices
Customer-focused technical support
Preferred
Experience with broadcast technology
Experience with video encoding
Microsoft certifications
Cisco certifications
Juniper certifications
