Responsibilities
Lead Deals: You will be the day-to-day manager for new investments. This includes overseeing financial modeling, managing lawyers and accountants, and negotiating terms
Strategic Thinking: You’ll research the logistics industry to find new investment trends and decide which companies are worth buying
Portfolio Management: After a deal closes, you’ll work directly with the company’s leadership to help them grow, set budgets, and improve operations
Sourcing: You will help find new deals by building relationships with bankers and industry contacts
Mentorship: You will manage and train the junior staff (Associates and Senior Associates)
Qualification
Required
5–8+ years in Private Equity or Investment Banking
Expert at complex financial modeling (LBOs)
Ability to make smart decisions even when you don't have all the data
High ownership attitude - meaning you take initiative and don't need constant hand-holding
Experience with 'lower middle-market' deals and founder-led companies
Preferred
Experience in logistics or transportation
