Project Engineer – Water Resources/Marine Design (Remote/Hybrid)

Responsibilities

Utilize CADD to prepare design drawings for a variety of civil and water resource projects
Assist Project Managers with the preparation of engineering reports and technical documentation
Prepare project specifications in support of construction bidding and implementation
Support construction oversight and field-related engineering tasks as needed
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success
Perform assigned tasks in accordance with Tetra Tech’s safety, quality, and project management standards
Ensure all work complies with internal procedures, legislative requirements, and industry standards
Maintain a strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning
Support project managers and engineering leads in plan development, documentation, and project delivery
Work safely at all times and promptly report any health and safety incidents or concerns
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline
Minimum 1 year of professional experience in civil or water resources engineering
CADD experience required (AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desire to obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) license within the next 5 years
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions

Preferred

Experience in stormwater design, marine structures, or ecosystem restoration
Knowledge of hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software
Familiarity with construction oversight and specification preparation
