Global Hotel Program Manager-Vice President

Responsibilities

Overall management of the global Business hotel program
Lead the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including the development of business requirements and presentation of recommendations to leadership
Develop and implement category strategies that align with overall business goals and drive program optimization
Conduct thorough market research, including benchmarking, and analyze spend and compliance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Collaborate with Procurement and suppliers to negotiate pricing agreements, and terms to ensure a competitive advantage
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, leveraging them to achieve business objectives
Act as a primary liaison to key stakeholders, including the Citi Hotel Council, Corporate Travel teammates, CSIS and TMC Management
Monitor and manage vendors to ensure the hotel program design effectively supports evolving business needs
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions
Prepare and present regular reviews on category performance to management
Optimize Travel Management Company Hotel Desk operations
Schedule and conduct regular Supplier Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
Coordinate with the Global events team for the Roadshow program and other synergies
Lead the development and execution of Hotel Surveys
Manage and resolve Priority Escalations

Required

6-10 years of work related experience
Bachelors degree
Strategic Thinker: Possess a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to develop and execute innovative category strategies
Analytical Acumen: Proficient in analyzing spend and compliance data, identifying key trends, and translating insights into actionable strategies
Negotiation & Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex pricing agreements, and terms, and to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Organizational Skills: Highly detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Communication & Presentation: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex information and present recommendations to leadership and diverse audiences
Results-Driven: Focused on achieving targets and objectives, with a proven track record of driving savings and enhancing user experience
Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions within the global hotel and corporate travel sectors
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment, adapting to new challenges and opportunities
