Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist will assist the Service Manager with scheduling work, order parts, handle customer calls, and maintain stock inventory, ensuring efficient operations and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Assist the Service Manager and Parts person with scheduling work
Order parts for jobs
Take incoming customer parts calls
Write descriptions of work performed to be used for invoicing
Look up part numbers in technical manuals and online
Research price and availability of parts
Pack and ship parts to customers and function as shipper/receiver
Maintain stock inventory and order emergency parts
Support service manager with customer quoting and technician scheduling based on parts availability

Required

Previous parts experience preferred. Industrial/electrical/heavy equipment experience a bonus
Comfortable working with a computer including Excel, Word, performing internet searches, etc
Good communication skills a must
Team player that works well with others, toward a common goal
Understands the value of good customer service
