They are seeking a Semiconductor & AI Research Intern to work on hands-on projects involving AI hardware, semiconductor manufacturing processes, and optical systems while collaborating with a team of engineers.

Responsibilities

Configure, build, and program opto-mechanical 3D machine vision systems, automate data acquisition and image reconstruction

Developing/applying understanding of optics, machine vision, etc, to and VIS automated microscopy platforms

Developing automation/standardization solutions, working on ETLs and databases

Deconstruction and analysis of advanced AI products

Qualification

Applied physicsProgramming languagesSemiconductor knowledgeAI understandingData analysisStatistics knowledgeProcess controlsOrganizational skills

Required

Strong fundamentals in the hard sciences, applied physics, engineering

A working skillset in at least one programming language, e.g. Python, C++, Rust

Interest in semiconductors, electron devices, computer architecture, AI

Preferred

A preference for hands-on work and close-collaboration

Past experience in the semiconductor or AI domains

Proven ability to interpret analytical or scientific data

Strong organizational skills and an understanding of statistics and process controls
