Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy advanced Power BI dashboards and reports with a focus on automation and performance
Build and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations
Automate ETL pipelines, data refresh schedules, and integrations with SQL and cloud data sources
Collaborate with investment, operations, and finance teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Implement data governance, security, and performance tuning for BI solutions
Support and mentor junior BI developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to BI reporting and data sources
Continuously evaluate and enhance BI architecture, recommending new technologies or processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
5+ years of experience in BI development, with at least 3 years focused on advanced Power BI solutions
Expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling techniques
Proficient in SQL development, query optimization, and database design
Experience with data warehouse concepts, ETL processes, and automation tools
Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, or other cloud-based data platforms
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize large datasets for performance
Excellent communication skills for working with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
Background in investment management, private equity, or financial services
Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages for advanced analytics
Knowledge of APIs and data integration with third-party systems
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for BI deployments
